I’m ade ishs, also known as Iman S H Suyoto.

I work across music and technology, and I’m fascinated by sound, pattern, and meaning. I’m probably best known as a pianist and composer, with a life-long career also including computer science and academia with industry applications in maintaining large‑scale systems.

Born in Bandung, Jawa Barat, Indonesia 🇮🇩 and now based in Latrobe, Tasmania, Australia 🇦🇺, my creative artistic work is grounded in music, particularly compositions based on lived experience. Over the years, it has been performed, recorded, and written about through festivals, albums, journals, books, and broadcasts in Australia and beyond.

I share my life with my beloved wife, Fety Aryani. As part our sacred marriage being the foundation of how we live our lives, we have collaborated for years, including through a long‑running vlog.

Academically, I hold a PhD background, with research connecting music and information retrieval and professional experience spanning data, systems, and governance. I see all these things as components inside a big circuit connected to each other.
